Rectangular line engraving of Washington and related paraphernalia. In the center of the scene is an oval, ornately framed portrait of Washington, who is in military uniform and positioned in a 3/4 slight profile. Behind the portrait is a hanging early American flag. To the portrait's left sits an eagle with an olive branch in its mouth. In the foreground on a table sit Washington's hat, sword, and cane, along with assorted stationary. "Painted by A. Chappel.
