Her gloved hands rest on an open book on her lap. Title appears beneath image. Plaque on the bottom reads, "Presented by Henry Russell Drowne, 1912." Underneath the title reads, "From the original painting by Chappel in the possession of the publishers/ Johnson, Fry & Co, Publishers New York." |
