Full portrait of Martha Washington in forest landscape with an urn in the background. She wears a bonnet and a dress with an over-dress with bustle. Title appears beneath image. 7/27/2011 She has a flower in her hand. Underneath the title reads, "From the original by Alonzo Chappel in the possession of the Publishers/ Johnson, Fry &Co. Publishers, New York." The plaque reads, "Presented by Henry Russell Drowne, 1912." A Fruances Tavern Museum label is on the back of the print. The accession number is written in red on the label.
