Physical description |
Blue and white deep dish salad plate depicting rural Asian landscapes, including two pagodas on an island. A blue band and thin, diagonal lines are painted along the outer rim of the plate, framing the center image. |
Historical context |
Around the rim of the plate is a pattern defined by a solid blue band approximately 1.5 cm wide with blue diagonals spaced 7 cm apart. Below this is a band of thin diagonal lines in the opposite direction spaced approximately 1 cm apart and bordered above and below by horizontal lines. |
