Souvenir Bell with Sons of the Revolution medal design (alternate seal or insignia) on one side and insignia of Society of Colonial War on the other. The medal design has an eagle on top of the Revolutionary War soldier on battlefield with a border of stars and "1775" at his feet. The Society of Colonial Wars insignia is topped by a crown and contains a soldier ringed by inscription "Society of Colonial War 1607-1775" This bell was a souvenir from a joint banquet and is inscribed at the bottom with that date and location of "Los Angeles May 15th 1915" The bell has the familiar "Liberty Bell" shape but is missing its signature crack. |
