British Orderly Book "British Garrison Orders No. 2" 1775 - 1788. Includes entries regarding Quebec and Detroit. 09/05/2025: Contains entries signed by Henry Hamilton, possibly authored by him too? Henry Hamilton (1734-1796) was the Lieutenant Governor for the British who took command of Fort Detroit along with other British claims in the Northwest American frontier. Hamilton also used members of local Native American tribes to raid territories along the Ohio River like Kentucky. Hamilton later served as Governor of Bermuda and Antigua. |
